When a school believes a student may have an undiagnosed disability that is having an impact on their learning, the school may need to ‘impute’ a disability for the purposes of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD).

The NCCD Portal facilitated a webinar in late 2021 to help schools make decisions about the inclusion of students with imputed disability for the purposes of the NCCD. In the webinar, a panel of experts provides an overview of what imputing disability means, why schools need to impute disability for students who meet the NCCD criteria, and how to manage this process.

The webinar is available to view online, along with a list of comprehensive questions representing common themes that emerged during the webinar.
